“Growing Younger” – the third video in Liz Franklin’s Yoga in Chairs® video series.
Liz Franklin’s Yoga In Chairs® allows anyone who can sit in a chair to participate in a gentle, effective yoga practice.
We will work even more deeply with the breath than we did in earlier videos. Please be sure that you are aware of your breathing throughout your practice. Your breath is a very powerful tool. As you move more deeply into the poses you will need to keep your breath strong and steady to feed you muscles to support your body.
We will be taking your body through more intense stretches to explore the boundaries of your range of motion and flexibility. We will also be working to build more strength and stamina. You may find some of the poses very energizing.
As your practice matures you will find the benefits building on each other. Your whole body should be benefiting from your practice and you will find that your powers of concentration have increased significantly. Breathing deeply will become part of your everyday life and I trust that yoga’s benefits will have you incorporating these poses into your daily routine.
Even though you now have experience practicing yoga, you still need to have patience. Some of the advanced poses are very challenging and you may have to work your way up to the full pose. Keep trying and listen to your body.
